Alumnae Among Honored Twin Cities Leaders
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal announced its 40 Under 40 honorees in February.
The editors choose 40 people under the age of 40 in the Twin Cities who have established themselves as leaders in their industries and the community. Two St. Kate’s alumnae —Anne Paape ’02 and Sahra Noor ’00 — were on the list.
Anne Paape ’02 is an attorney at Gray Plant Mooty. In her role, she helps clients planning for transitions in estates, family-owned businesses, and marital legal matters. Thomson Reuters named Paape a Rising Star for the past three years.Paape is active in pro bono work, and volunteers with the Minnesota AIDS Project, Guthrie Theater and Wills for Heroes.
Sahra Noor ’00 is CEO of People’s Center Health Services in Minneapolis, where she influenceshow care is delivered to immigrants and other underserved patients. An immigrant herself, Noor is very familiar with the issues facing new Minnesotans, and the need for a positive, welcoming healthcare environment.
Noor has garnered numerous awards and accolades for her efforts to improve health outcomes. Prior to People’s Center, she was director of language services and community health at Fairview Health Services, and developed an innovative online interpreter program that significantly reduced interpreter wait times.
